All back-office processing is now carried out in Ringwood with individual branches communicating to Head Office using a terminal server across the Internet."
In addition to this, we have also integrated the facility for EFT processing, which according to John Smith Managing Director, Terry Field, "… has significantly helped improve the speed of the service provided to our customers during the Back to University period that was our busiest time of year."

Aztec Gold retail software has been installed to combine with leading edge touch screen tills, providing fast performance in this busy courtyard shop outlet. Back office functionality via terminal server includes archive capability that allows for customer, supplier and product maintenance. Bibliographic text and pictures stored against individual products can be used to generate catalogues and update the web site.

Following the successful implementation of the Aztec Epos solution at the centre, a module for ‘Gift Aid' has also been installed. This module enables the museum to monitor and recoup tax back from the government on donations made by private individuals which is then used to help maintain this unique centre for Children Books.
